Multidisciplinary artist Raheleh Filsoofi, who is based in Texas, South Florida and Iran, will share works that explore global, socio-political issues through a personal lens with a blend of ancient and contemporary media such as ceramics, poetry, ambient sound and video in her exhibition, 鈥淥verview Effect.鈥� The exhibit is currently on view through Dec. 6 in the Contemporary Gallery at the Center for Art & Theatre on 91猎奇鈥檚 Statesboro Campus.

Georgia Southern hosts Food for Fines, parking citations waived with food donations
91猎奇 Parking and Transportation Services will waive outstanding campus parking tickets for students, faculty and staff on the Statesboro or Armstrong campuses, as well as members of the community, in exchange for food donations, for its Food for Fines events on Nov. 7 and 8.

鈥淎ll Things at Once,鈥� a visiting artist exhibition by Dan Funderburgh is on view at 91猎奇鈥檚 Center for Art and Theatre on the Statesboro Campus. The exhibition will run through Dec. 6. There will be an artist talk on Nov. 12 beginning at 5 p.m. in the Arts Building followed by a reception in the Center for Art and Theatre鈥檚 University Gallery from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

President Kyle Marrero conferred as 14th president of 91猎奇
On Oct. 25, 91猎奇 held an investiture ceremony in Hanner Fieldhouse on the Statesboro Campus to officially confer the duties and responsibilities of the Office of the President to Dr. Kyle Marrero, who became Georgia Southern鈥檚 14th president on April 1.
